World Cancer Day

Technic recently teamed up with international shoe brand Linzi Shoes to help raise awareness for breast cancer care as part of world cancer day.
Breast cancer care are Linzi Shoes’ chosen charity for this year, they do invaluable work throughout the year to provide care and support to those suffering or recovering from Breast Cancer.
As part of their fundraising activity, staff at all Linzi stores were dressed in pink for the day, accompanied by a selection of pink nail vanishes and lipsticks supplied by Badgequo. In addition to this, Linzi were asking every customer to donate £1 of their shoe purchases to Breast Cancer Care. To date they have raised well in excess of £25,000 towards their target of £50,000 by the end of this year. A target they will surely be much closer to after yesterdays hard work!

“World Cancer Day and the work done by Breast Cancer care are two incredibly relevant causes which provide a much needed service to thousands every year. Today nearly everybody knows somebody who has been affected by Cancer either personally or through friends and family so this was a cause we immediately wanted to get involved in once approached by Linzi shoes.”
