Badgequo work with Centrepoint to spread festive cheer

December 16th, 2015

Badgequo recently worked with a national youth charity to help create a number of gift bags for homeless women and girls in their London Hostels.

Centrepoint help thousands of homeless young people every year in London, Bradford and Sunderland in a number of different ways; from providing temporary housing to education in job seeking, personal health and the general vital life skills needed to move forward for a happy, healthy life.

In addition to this Centrepoint lobby in parliament for the rights of vulnerable young people. Backed by their patron, Prince William, this cause was one that we instantly wanted to get involved with.

As part of their Christmas activity, Centrepoint put together personal goody bags to be gifted to young women in their hostels including toiletries, cosmetics and other much needed accessories from a number of participating firms. These are especially important as many of the recipients will not be expecting to receive anything at all for Christmas, furthermore beauty products can make a big difference to these women’s general self-esteem, not just over the festive period but throughout the year.

Badgequo decided to help out by sending a variety of nail varnishes, eyeshadow palettes, foundations and other assorted beauty products and accessories to be included in these bags.

On behalf of everybody at Badgequo we would like to thank Centrepoint and Make a Difference for allowing us to be involved in your project, and hope whoever receives any of the goody bags this year thoroughly enjoys them and has a safe and happy Christmas.
