Role: Regulatory Technologist

We are recruiting for a Regulatory Technologist, who will be required to provide in-house regulatory control on all branded and private label cosmetic, toiletry and beauty accessory ranges.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Build technical product information files for the company to ensure full product compliance for each territory
  • Advise marketing on claims acceptability and contribute to artwork approval
  • Create and approve INCI lists for regulatory and consumer awareness considerations
  • Liaison with suppliers and vendors in the Far East
  • Liaise with laboratories and toxicologists on all technical queries (cosmetic/toiletries/accessories/toys/textiles/jewellery/metals/ etc.)
  • Product registration and notification of export products to relevant authorities
  • Respond to technical customer complaints and product enquiries

The successful candidate:

  • Will have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Will have a background and university degree in cosmetic science or pharmaceutical sciences
  • Will understand the importance of delivering on time and accurately to internal deadlines
  • Will be a self-starter, motivated, enthusiastic and work on your own initiative and happy to take responsibility and success

Role: Financial Accountant 

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious qualified accountant to join a fast growing business within the beauty and personal care sector.

A highly organised individual with good communication, team working and IT skills, you will be responsible for the day to day organisation of the finance department and will develop processes and controls on an ongoing basis.  Key tasks will include the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, cash forecasting and working capital management, annual budgets, year end accounts and audit as well as input and overseeing all aspects of the day to day running of a small finance department.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have a strong understanding of all financial and accounting regulations and legislation and be able to present and communicate financial information, variances and trends to the wider business, including those of a non-financial background.

Role: Accounts Assistant


Head Office, Silsden, West Yorkshire


An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious accounts assistant with experience of credit control and purchase ledger processing to join a fast growing business within the beauty and personal care sector.

A well organised individual with good communication, team working and IT skills, you will work as part of a small finance team and split your duties between credit control, purchase ledger processing and payment recording and processing, as well as other accounts related activities.

The role would suit someone who wants to work in a varied accounts environment and who possesses an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills, strong knowledge of excel and ERP/accounting software and has solid understanding of basic accounting principles. An recognised accounting qualification would be an advantage.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Underlying basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and primary accounting ledgers
  • AAT part or full qualified would be preferable
  • Minimum two years’ experience of working in an accounts office
  • Working knowledge of business/ERP systems in purchase, sales and general ledger
  • Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
  • Some understanding of Trade Finance and Invoice Finance would be beneficial
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Full clean driving license

Role: Assistant Product Manager


Head Office, Silsden, West Yorkshire

Main Purpose of Role:

To assist the Product Manager with development of core ranges.

Duties Include:

  • Research and scanning of the market for new products and competitor awareness
  • Propose new product and packaging ideas
  • Gather pricing information and set up costing spreadsheets for review by PM
  • Set up brief files for new items
  • Help to maintain the AYR VB
  • Liaise with FE suppliers and BQ China/HK Office
  • Liaise with Regulatory team where necessary
  • Update artwork planner with new orders
  • Assist with new product set up
  • Comp shopping
  • Communicate new product launches with marketing department
  • Assist PM in day to day tasks such as creating RFQ’s and product specs
  • Visit FE suppliers as necessary
  • Generate reports from ERP system for PM
  • Organize EPOS figures on a weekly basis.

Ad Hoc Duties

  • Continue to look for improvements to the NPD process together with other NPD staff.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Verbal update with PM on a daily basis
